War and society up to the 18th century (compulsory); war and society in the 19th and 20th century (compulsory); the American way of war; human rights, humanitarian intervention and global justice: moral problems; research portfolio and dissertation (compulsory); the army in the Roman Empire; war and crusade 1066-1192; artists and The Great War 1914-18; international security in the Asia-Pacific; war in space.
