IF YOU WANT TO WRITE A SCREENPLAY, WRITE COMEDY, OR LEARN EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT WRITING FOR FILM AND TV - YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE.
Euroscript was created in 1995 supported by the Screenwriters' Workshop, with funding from the European Union’s Media II programme, with the aim of improving the quality of scripts going into production in Europe
Through intensive script development initiatives like The Euroscript Screen Story Competition, where writers are nursed through three drafts of their screenplay, and a broad training programme, and working in collaboration with writers and their producer/director teams, Euroscript’s goal is to facilitate the production of highest-quality marketable screenplays for film and television.
Euroscript comprises a team of experienced and diverse industry professionals including producers, working screenwriters, script consultants and film-makers.

Writing a feature-length script and getting it made can take years. So while you're waiting for your producer to call you back, take some time out to write a ten-minute short in a day. Not only will you derive an enormous sense of achievement from having actually finished something; you'll have something to put into festivals while you're waiting for your big break. Intensive, concentrated and hard work, this workshop will drive your characters and plot through brainstorms, exercises and rigorous feedback so that you'll leave with the first draft of a fully-tested idea. If you are currently stuck on your short film script, please bring it along to the workshop. If you aren't working on anything at present, you will brainstorm new ideas for a script. The workshop focuses on narrative storytelling rather than experimental film-making. Working alone, in pairs and in groups you will: Brainstorm ideas for your next short – you may come up with a better idea than the one you're working on at the moment Check your twists – which lie at the heart of great storytelling Get feedback on your plot until it works Test the 'world’ of your script, what's the colour palette and cinematic style? Test your characters - are they intriguing enough to carry your story? Hone your dialogue until it reads like poetry Whether you are relatively new to screenwriting and would like to start with something manageable, or whether you're more experienced, we ensure you leave with the first draft of a script. As Fenella Greenfield's workshops are intensively exercise-based, please come with pen and lots of paper. The group will be open to a limited number of participants as you will be workshopping and reading out your work all day. Go to our website Euroscript for further details or call 07515 38 1586.
