Course Description
On this course contents studied are application of veterinary nursing care; principles and practice of diagnostics for veterinary nurses; pharmacology and pharmacy support for veterinary nursing practice; surgical theatre practice for veterinary nurses; supporting anaesthetics in veterinary practice. Key Skills in Communication and Application of Number at level 2 are included in the programme.

Entry Requirements
Candidates must be minimum seventeen years of age; must be employed at a Veterinary Nurse Approved Centre or a Training and Assessment practice; must have achieved the NVQ Level 2 Veterinary Nursing Award
