Assessment method
Students will complete a series of assessments as part of the programme delivery. Externally set examinations are completed at the end of each year, including a number of practical assessments in the final year. In addition, the employer will provide the student veterinary nurse with an assessor in the work place to support assessment of the occupational standards.
Entry Requirements
Five GCSE passes at grade C or above including English Language, Maths and Science. You must be employed in a veterinary practice that is an approved training practice. Minimum age 17. Students must have passed NVQ Level 2 for progression to NVQ Level 3.
