Course Description
This course helps students to develop the theoretical knowledge and understanding needed to work in a veterinary practice. The units studied include: laboratory diagnostic aids, medical nursing and fluid management, diagnostic imaging, medical nursing, surgical nursing, anaesthesia, theatre practice and care of exotic species and wildlife.
Entry Requirements
Students should be 17 years old and must have 5 Cs at GCSE level including English language, science or mathematics or an equivalent qualification such as BVNA Certificate in animal nursing.
