Course Description
On this course contents studied are relationships and accountability in veterinary nursing practice; health and safety in veterinary nursing practice; applied functional anatomy for veterinary nursing practice; maintaining animal health in veterinary practice; essential veterinary nursing skills; nursing support in the provision of veterinary services. Key Skills in Communication and Application of Number at level 1 are included in the programme.

Course Fees
£775; Awarding body fees are not included in the course fee; Special fees apply to students funded by recognised managing agents

Entry Requirements
Candidates must be minimum seventeen years of age; must be employed at a Veterinary Nurse Approved Centre or a Training and Assessment practice; must be enrolled on the RCVS VN scheme; five GCSE passes at grade C or above including English Language, Mathematics and a science subject. The Level 2 Certificate for Animal Nursing Assistants or National Certificate for Veterinary Care Assistants award, along with Key Skills at level 2 in Communication and Application of Number are also acceptable
