Course Description
This course is designed for unqualified nurses who are already employed in a veterinary practice. Students will undergo practically based vocational training in a veterinary practice registered as a training practice. Subjects include essential veterinary nursing skills, relations and accountability, health and safety, maintain animal health nursing support and applied functional anatomy.
Entry Requirements
Students should have completed Level 2 Certificate for Animal Nursing Assistants, minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or 5 Scottish Standard grades 1 3). These must include English language, mathematics and a science subject, BTEC National Diploma or Certificate in Animal Care. This equates to the entry requirements only if merits or distinctions are achieved in specified modules.

Venue Description
