Course Description
This course of study in year 1 include anatomy and physiology modules such as health and safety in the veterinary practice, veterinary practice management, small animal nursing 1, anatomy and physiology, animal health, work experience, small animal nursing 2, maintaining the veterinary practice, animal reproduction, animal nutrition. The 2 nd year comprises intensive nursing module which includes nursing models, anaesthesia in practice, practical radiography, applied animal health, pharmacology in practice, surgical and theatre procedures, application of nursing models and optional units include advanced parasitology, wild animals, captivity and rehabilitation, microbiology and biochemistry.
