Course Description
This course is for those who would benefit from an experienced navigator to demonstrate how to negotiate the VAT minefield. This course guides delegates through a series of topics where a precise knowledge of how the rules really work can make the difference between avoiding the pitfalls and falling into them. The course will include: failing to claim pre registration and post deregistration input tax, claiming overcharged VAT as input tax, misunderstanding the concept of non business and outside the scope, overlooking the ‘Lennartz’ mechanism, getting partial exemption wrong, mishandling the purchase and sale of let property, believing the many myths about the option to tax.
