Students who wish to advance their male grooming skills. You need to hold an NVQ Level 2 barbering qualifications or equivalent. Applicants should have a good standard of literacy and numeracy. This is a preparation for work unit which is based on capability and knowledge. This unit is about providing shaving services for men. To carry out this unit you will need to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene procdures throughout your work. This course will be taught with a mixture of practical and theory lessons in a working salon. You will be taught by a team of highly qualified professionals in our hairdressing salons. Students on a part-time courses are required to organise their own clients for unit devlopment and competent assessments for which thdere will be a service charge. Learners who successfully complete this qualification will have the opportunity to progress to further level 3 vocational qualifications in barbering. It is anticipated that this qualification leads directly into employment.
