In this course, students will study areas including health and safety in the salon, client care, professional conduct and business awareness, facial and body electrical treatments, anatomy and physiology, body massage and pre-blended aromatherapy massage, provide self tanning, spa treatments and apply individual permanent lashes and it includes functional skills qualification. They may progress to higher education. Alternatively they could seek relevant employment in a beauty therapy salon, leisure centre, cruise liner or health farm.
Students must have VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques. They will need to purchase salon wear, a basic equipment kit and textbooks and pay a fee towards the cost of consumables.
