Pulse Fitness Centre--- New �4.3million leisure centre open from September 2010 built by our partner Pulse Fitness. Including an 18m swimming pool, thermal suite, sports hall, changing facilities, studios and a 80 station Pulse fitness suite. Students will have exclusive use of the sports hall during the day to use badminton, netball, 5-a-side football, basketball and cricket nets facilities. Renaissance--- Our hair and beauty salons offer a real working environment to students offering the public high quality style and service - at College prices. A wide variety of treatments are available including Cut and Blow Dry, Colour Perms, Manicures, Pedicures, Facials, Massage and Waxing.Nightingales Restaurant Nightingales is our On-site training restaurant for catering and hospitality students. Offering gourmet foods at pub prices. Mavis Peart Building--- Our Specialist Vocational Progression Unit opened in 2009 and is a purpose-built learning facility for young people and adults with severe/profound and complex learning difficulties and/or disabilities. The centre accommodates 80 learners on a non-residential basis and activities include literacy, numeracy, IT, health for life and activities to help independent living and working. Dedicated studios for our art and design and music courses and Engineering workshops for electrical, motoring and construction courses. Learning Centre--- Students can access a wide range of resources with a collection of 30,000 books, magazines, newspapers, print based and audio. E-journals and e-books are available with 100 computers with internet access. Customer Services & Guidance Centre & Careers Service--- Our team of advisors break down barriers to learning with independent careers advice and information, welfare and financial guidance, confidential counselling service from qualified counsellors and University applications support.
