This course aims to build on the knowledge and skills students have developed at VRQ level 2. Further studies may include the theory of beauty and body treatments, anatomy and physiology and salon management. They will also have practical experience of beauty therapy, including self tanning, make-up, electrical face and body treatments, Indian head massage, body massage and aromatherapy. Modules include monitor procedures to safely control work operations; contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities; provide body electrical treatments; provide facial electrical treatments; provide body massage treatments; provide electrical epilation treatments; provide stone therapy treatments.
