The picturesque, campus-based University of Wales, Newport is located on two sites: the first in the picturesque town of Caerleon, and the second in the City of Newport itself.

Our four schools of study provide a varied range of courses to suit every student, ranging from art, creative writing, and fashion design, through to business, sports studies, education or engineering.

The University is building a £35 million city centre campus which will be situated on the banks of the River Usk and will open in September 2010. This will be a new home for Newport Business School and a large part of Newport School of Art, Media and Design.

We now have students studying at the University from over 50 different countries, which creates a truly global community. The 2007 Survey of international students in the UK (the International Student Barometer) indicated that the University is top in Wales for the quality of the international Student Experience.
