Ulster is a large, modern university established on four campuses across Northern Ireland. In broad terms, our postgraduate programmes can be divided into two main types: those which focus on deepening the knowledge and skills acquired in a given subject at undergraduate level; and those which focus on the acquisition of knowledge and skills required for professional development in a given employment sector, be it for purposes of entry to a career or career advancement. But no matter what the focus of the programme, the demands and challenges are firmly at the postgraduate level.

As a teaching institution we have an enviably high reputation for quality. We have six faculties - Arts, Art, Design & Built Environment, Ulster Business School, Computing & Engineering, Life and Health Sciences and Social Sciences - and seventeen Research Institutes. As well as this we offer entrepreneurship training and support through specialised units.
