What's on Offer
Almost 300 degree combinations are offered at undergraduate level. The lack of faculty barriers means there are few restrictions on subject choice, and students are able to change the emphasis of their degree programme as their interests develop. There is continuous assessment in all subjects, with grades being derived from coursework as well as examinations.
Honours programmes are typically four years in length. Second year entry is possible in many subjects for suitably qualified applicants. It is possible to study full-time or part-time, and the option of February entry is offered in many subjects.
Student support is second to none, with networks in place to assist students with any academic or welfare issues that might arise. The University of Stirling is able to offer a particularly high level of support to disabled students, including those with dyslexia or dyspraxia.
