What's on Offer
We offer a range of subjects grouped under five faculties: Arts; Engineering; Education, Law and Social Sciences; Medicine and Health Sciences; Science. A remarkable 39 subjects have been awarded 22 and 24 out of 24 in the independent teaching assessment conducted by the Quality Assurance Agency. The latest independent Research Assessment Exercise awarded 26 departments the highest 5 or 5* rating, placing us in the top 10 UK institutions carrying out research of international excellence.
