"I came to Nottingham on an open day and was immediately struck by how open the campus seemed. I liked the city, and the University has a reputation for combining academic life with fun and social opportunities.

My favourite aspect of the course is the amount of freedom I have; the course is structured to give students the opportunity to adapt and create essay titles according to their interests and there are lots of optional modules.

For me, the ‘stand out’ modules have been the Philosophy of Sex, Metaphysics, and Marx. I have found them all interesting and challenging in their own ways, and they illustrate the diversity of this course.

The course is well supported by the resources in the Hallward Library and we each have access to a personal tutor should we need any academic or pastoral support."
