The University has a long history stretching back to 1861 when the Hull School of Art was founded. In 2001 the university became the University of Lincoln and began to expand its provision of courses and increase the research opportunities available.
The university has four campuses, three of which are in Lincoln - the main Brayford Pool campus, the Lincolnshire School of Agriculture at the Riseholme campus and the Lincoln School of Art & Design in historic buildings in the centre of Lincoln. In Hull we have the Schools of Health & Social Care and Management.
