University Of Greenwich Overview
The University of Greenwich offers a wide range of postgraduate programmes including MA, MSc, MBA, diplomas and research-based programmes. Many of our programmes are accredited by professonal bodies. Programmes are available on a full-time or part-time basis and are taught at our campuses located in London and Kent. Our students benefit from being taught in a research environment where staff share expertise and specialist facilities.
In 2004-2005, the University generated over £17.5 million in research and consultancy. Two hundred and fifty-two Greenwich staff won increased average grades in the 2001 Research Assessment Exercise, while the university’s research community also includes a substantial cohort of research students. The university has won two successive research-based Queen’s Anniversary Prizes for Higher & Further Education; these national awards recognise outstanding achievement which benefits the wider community. We offer research expertise, technology transfer, incubator facilities, business advice and staff training, working in partnership with business, industry, government and public bodies.
The university is proud of its diverse student body consisting of over 4,000 students from more than 100 countries who contribute much to its thriving multicultural academic community. The Disability and Dyslexia Team support over 1,000 students, while many of our black and other minority ethnic students participate in our pioneering mentoring scheme which pairs them with highfliers in the City and elsewhere.
