Purpose This qualification is designed for people who wish to develop and understand the principles of providing help and support to people needing to access health care. What will I learn? During this course you will develop an understanding of the most effective way to engage in health promotion, identify the key elements of promoting a healthy lifestyle and how to help others establish a lifestyle plan. You will be required to complete 1 Unit. How will I be assessed? All learners are supported to complete a Learner Portfolio. We provide learners with portfolio’s that contain all of the learning material you will need to complete the course. Am I Eligible to apply? You do not need previous qualifications to apply for this course but will need to attend an initial interview to discuss your learning needs. You will also need to demonstrate your proficiency in basic English literacy and numeracy Where and when does the course take place? You can complete this course online or as a distance learning programme or attend our weekly class in Battersea SW11 Once per week on a Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. We also fortnightly tutorials for our students either online or face to face. How much does it cost? We charge £95 per Unit
