This Understanding Understanding MRSA course is organised into three modules. The first two modules will enable you, the learner, to gain an understanding of the different agents that can cause infection and how they grow and mutate; how infection is spread and the measures that can be taken to prevent this from taking place. In the third module MRSA is examined in more depth and you will understand how it has become a hospital super bug resistant to antibiotics. Also in the third module you will learn what your role and legal obligations are in reducing its spread.
