Course Description
This course requires students to undertake research and write an in-depth dissertation on a subject chosen by themselves (subject to approval by the course teaching team), guided by a supervisor with expertise in the field. Students are encouraged to choose a topic, within the broad field of archaeology and landscape, which will draw on their particular interests as developed in earlier courses, and to use an inter-disciplinary approach. Research should use appropriate methodologies including field work and/or primary documentary sources.

Researching Archaeology and Landscape or a suitable equivalent research skills course for joint BA students.
