Course Description
This programme is intended for senior undergraduates majoring in subjects relevant to the study of globalisation who wish to build upon their studies and improve their knowledge of English. You will study a range of subjects (for example European Integration, Poltics, International Business). The aim is to develop your knowledge of these subjects and to study them from a European point of view. Your language tutors will give you guidance in how to write academic essays in English. The aim of the course is both to develop your listening and speaking skills so that you can take a full part in university life, and to develop your reading and writing skills so that you are able to do the research necessary for your academic essays. The programme follows the pattern of the Oxford academic year. The formal contact time amounts to approximately 15 hours per week, but, in addition, you are expected to undertake private study and language laboratory work.
Course Fees
The fee for the three-term course is £10,200. Students are invoiced on offer of a place for a deposit of £1,000. This non-refundable deposit must be paid within four weeks to hold your place. Full payment of the outstanding fees must be received by 15 July 2007 at the latest
