Course Description
This course is almost entirely concerned with the domestic environment and there are numerous opportunities to use their own home in the design projects. No drawing skills are required since they will be shown simple ways of creating the drawings that they need. They look at historical and contemporary examples of interior design through case studies. The final project brings together all the skills and knowledge they have acquired. The course includes producing a design brief; presentation and drawing; the meaning of design; colour, pattern and texture; historical and contemporary aspects of design; lighting; elements of design; measured surveys.

Course Fees
Advance Payment: £580 or £280 deposit + 5 monthly payments of £65; Free text on interior design history, a collection of case studies and aids to producing scale drawings are provided.
