Course Description
There has been a dramatic increase in interest in subjects such as herbal remedies and aromatherapy, both of which are now becoming mainstream treatments. Medicinal horticulture is concerned with the production technology, management and marketing of medicinal plants and herbs. The medicinal horticulturist must understand the requirements of herbal production, the nature of herbal medicines and their uses. The course is designed for students wishing to study either full-time (sandwich) or part-time, in combination with industry.
