Course Description
BTEC HND course run in conjunction with Thames Valley University. You may specialise in one of the following fields: Fashion and Textiles, Fine Art, Graphic Design and Advertising. You may go on to do a top up year to complete a BA (Hons) at West Thames or at another university.
For Graphic Design and advertising: You will study advertising concepts, writing and art direction, graphics, typography, computer applications, multimedia and illustration. Your practical work will be complemented by studies in art and design history, professional practice and social and economic trends which can be applied to your work. This course is accredited by Thames Valley University.

You will need at least one A Level, National Diploma, Access or equivalent Level 3 qualification. We will consider other evidence for mature students. You will need to show a portfolio of your work at your interview.
