Course Description
This programme aims to educate designers who are creative thinkers; designers who are not constrained by the conventional boundaries of graphic design and illustration and provides students with the specific skills demanded by the visual communications industry. Year one includes design process, use of media, digital processes, presentation and production skills; divergent thinking, alternative solutions, interpreting a brief, drawing; introduction to issues of analysis and design, study skills. Year two includes challenging conventions, contacts with industry, research and analysis; divergent thinking, alternative solutions, interpreting a brief, drawing; aesthetic and theoretical frameworks used in graphic design or illustration. Year three is the top-up year to achieve BA (Hons) at another university.

Course Fees
Tuition Fees: Termly payments: UK Students: £4500, Non-UK Students: £6000; Three terms: UK Students: £13500, Non-UK Students: £18000; Annually in advance: UK Students: £13000, Non-UK Students: £17400. Tuition fees include temporary membership to the Cambridge Union Society. Other charges: Registration fee: £100 and refundable deposit (£900), Course books and examination fees (as applicable); Optional social activities (as applicable). Fees does not include accommodation.
