Course Description
This course develop Fine Art skills across a range of media and prepare for a professional career or progression to degree level study. Students will be encouraged to take part in work placements and will have the chance to curate at least 2 group exhibitions. It includes Drawing in Fine Art, Lens-based Recording Techniques and presenting and exhibiting art work. There are also opportunities for trips abroad.

Assessment method
Students will be assessed through written assignments, project briefs, exhibitions and practical work.

Entry Requirements
Students should have BTEC National, Diploma in Art and Design at Merit Pass, Advanced GNVQ or AVCE in Art and Design at MM or CC, A Level or Advanced GCE at D or above in a relevant subject or Access course in Art and Design. Entry relies on a good portfolio.
