The Certificate of Higher Education in World Arts and Artefacts is the result of an exciting and unique partnership between Birkbeck and the British Museum. Collaborations with other museums and galleries have enabled us to extend the range of our courses even further. These varied collections form the starting point for our modules, which examine objects from a wide range of geographical regions, cultures and historical periods. Among other topics, you can study how objects were produced, who made them, who used them and why.
