Course Description
Lancaster offers three programmes which can either be taken on their own or prior to the fall term at Lancaster or another UK university. They are designed to be introductions for international students to British culture and to study in a British university. Weekly field trips are an interesting and valuable part of each course. A short orientation is also included. Course content includes: The Political History of the European Union; Modern Europe - Culture, Politics and Society; Impact of European Business on the UK; Business French.

Entry Requirements
The International Summer School is most suited to students who have completed at least one year of university study or equivalent in their own country. It is appropriate for students from other countries who are about to begin a period of study at a UK university, and for North American students coming to the UK to study as JYAs or for shorter periods.
Venue Description
Childcare facilities are available on site. Early booking of sessions is strongly recommended due to high demand of limited places. Guidance and advice may be available for all aspects of student life. Facilities/Support are available for students with hearing impairment.
