Course Description
This is a practical course that covers the key aspects of managing the finances of a small business. It covers theory, as appropriate, but concentrates upon understanding the financial data with which small businesses are presented. Participants will practise a variety of skills in key business areas such as cash flow, profit and loss and the calculation of breakeven point. As well as practical exercises, the course includes discussion and analysis of case studies so that participants may learn from the experience of existing businesses.
