Course Description
This course is aimed at introducing students to the realm of digital design and culture. Through the practical application of photography and image manipulation software students will be encouraged to develop an understanding of key conceptual ideas about digital media, the way it is generated, its potential for creative invention and its power to represent. This course is supported by software workshops and practise in industry based design software such as Adobe Photoshop (still image), Final Cut (film) & Maya (3D Modelling), as well as seminars and lectures that encourage the development of both conceptual and technical skills.
