Course Description
This course offers a range of modules to be studied throughout the duration of the course. The modules include: building technology and services; air conditioning; measuring, tendering and estimating; engineering mathematics; piped distribution services; lighting applications; construction measurement; project management; individual student project and construction site management.
Assessment method
Students will be assessed through variety of methods including case studies, written assignments, time-controlled assignments, report writing, assignments that relate to the workplace, group projects and presentations.
Entry Requirements
Students must have some practical experience of the construction industry.
Venue Description
College provides support for students with dyslexic problems, physical or learning disabilities and hearing impairment. Counselling services are available for students with issues such as loneliness, stress, study problems, relationship difficulties and lack of confidence. childcare facilities and guidance and advice services are available. Car parking is also available. Steward Hall offers snacks and fast food and is also equipped with various leisure machines.
