Venue Description
The College nursery is open Monday to Friday during term time. It is a purpose-built, open plan room, and also boasts an interactive and stimulating outdoor play area. The nursery can accommodate up to twenty children at any one time, from the age of two years up to their fifth birthday. The Health and Fitness suite has the very latest cardio-vascular and body toning equipment. The state-of-the-art Learning Clusters give students access to on-line reference and information services, distance learning materials, audio visual facilities, information technology, careers information and library resources. There are many desktop computers available with high-speed links where the students can use the Internet, email and access the extensive learning network. The Bistro offers value-for-money meals, snacks and drinks. The College offers support to students with a variety of additional needs. All areas of the college offer good access to people with physical disabilities complemented by a comprehensive support service. There are a whole range of sporting and social activities throughout the year, some run jointly with the students union. The Students Union is the hub of a whole range of social activities and a source of help and advice for students.
