Course Description
The course aims to provide a unique package for fast track entry into one of the UK's most productive and successful industries. It will give students the highest possible level of awareness and skill in the chemical, technical and socio-economic aspects of drug and other chemical synthesis. It also aims to stimulate awareness and enthusiasm for the challenges and opportunities in process chemistry. You will also spend one year working in industry.

Assessment method
Examinations are held in one or two sessions in each year. Practicals and other coursework are assessed separately. The MSci final year is assessed on each element of the course, with test papers on lecture material in January and April/May. There are no comprehensive final examinations, but one oral examination will be held in each of the third and fourth years to assess earlier material.
