Course Description
The skills gained on this course will enable you to meet changing circumstances, whether these arise from a change in employment, promotion or from general changes in business practices and the business environment. The qualification is nationally recognised and widely sought after by all sectors of business. Some of the units studied include: Marketing; Managing financial resources; Competition and environment; Legal and regulatory frameworks. Optional units may include: European business; Human resource management; Advertising and promotion; Financial reporting. Successful completion of the programme can lead to many professional career opportunities including management, marketing, financial and retail. Those who wish to can progress onto the 2nd year of university degree programmes

Entry Requirements
To qualify for this programme should have: at least 1 A Level, or BTEC National/ Certificate or GNVQ Advanced qualification, or equivalent qualifications and 4 GCSE passes at grade C or above (including Maths and English). Mature students with relevant work experience not holding any of the above qualifications are very welcome to apply for an interview where they will be considered on the work they have done, their enthusiasm and commitment
