Course Description
This course gives a full understanding of the modern global business environment. There is a balance of theoretical principles of management and their practical application to contemporary business situations. Considerably more tutorial assistance is given to students than is the case with standard university programmes. The normal lecture programme is reinforced by tutorials which takes place in small groups, allowing teachers to help students on an individual basis, and to ensure that their understanding is secure. Year one covers marketing management, organisational behaviour, financial accounting, quantitative research methods, human resource management, business communications, economic environment and business law; year two covers management planning and strategy, corporate finance, strategic marketing, business information systems, management organisation, strategic human resource management and management accounting; year three covers retail marketing and logistics, managerial finance, strategic management, global business environment, service marketing management, financial reporting and analysis and independent study.

Assessment method
Students will be assessed through combination of coursework and written examinations.
Entry Requirements
Students should have 5 GCSEs and two A Level passes or Albion College University Foundation Programme, an equivalent overseas qualification, English Language ability equivalent to 6.0 IELTS. Applicants over 21 without formal qualifications may also be accepted.
