Course Description
Would you like to try your hand at painting plants? The tutor will show you how to identify the flowering and fruiting parts of plants (with the help of dissection and magnifying lenses), and will discuss how they have been portrayed by botanical artists, both past and present. You will have the opportunity to produce your own realistic portraits of summer flowering plants. It would be useful if you have a little experience of watercolour painting.
