The course emphasises mixed media and cross-disciplinary approaches to fine art. It is not suitable for students desiring specialist or vocational training in a specific area such as TV, film or photography. The course is structured to reflect the fluid nature of its content, encouraging flexibility and choice through studio practice. Part time students apply directly to the University.

Entry Requirements
A National Diploma in Art & Design or an Advanced VCE in Art & Design or a Diploma in Foundation Studies or an Access to Art & Design course; A Portfolio of your existing work; Mature applicants (Over 21) may gain entry to the course subject to a successful interview. Applicants are interviewed where they offer non standard qualifications. The UCAS deadline for receiving 'on time' Route B art and design course applications from all applicants is 24 March 2008, but you should aim to apply by 7 March. Interviews are arranged in sequential order according to your course preferences.
