Course Description
The course aims to provide students with the opportunity to gain technical skills in the use of various materials for craft projects and to gain an insight into the work of contemporary design makers. Includes practical sessions offering the opportunity to gain basic skills in working with fibres, clay, metal and wood; guidance in research skills, enabling the student to gain an insight into the possible applications of materials and an overview of their current usage within contemporary art and craft.
