Course Description
This three year course provides a broadly based introduction to the cultural and environmental context of architecture, and a thorough grounding in the techniques of architectural design and technology. Studio-based projects form the core of each year's work and occupy at least half of the available time. The remainder of the curriculum is devoted to formal teaching by means of lectures, workshops, and seminars. This three-year degree course leads to exemption from the Royal Institute of British Architects' Part 1 examination.
