Assessment method
Assessment procedures in different courses vary, but our basic objective is to achieve a good balance between formal examinations, assessed essays and project work. The course work and project work component of your final degree result will depend on precisely which of the above degrees you study, but in general about one-quarter of it is based on second-year performance, about one-quarter on the third-year dissertation (where appropriate) and about one-half on performance in other third-year courses.
