Course Description
Management in Equine Leisure offers a fast track BA (Hons) opportunity for HND or FD holders to study for an honours degree in one year. The course provides a management focused equine leisure programme designed to develop awareness of and ability in corporate management. Six modules in total are studied allowing for analysis of management issues underpinning equine leisure. Options are selected from the wide variety of modules offered across the Department. An ethos of self development and reflection also runs through the curriculum in order to develop greater personal awareness and confidence in managing others. The course begins with a comprehensive induction week, when you are assisted in the transition to degree level study. Expectations of studying for a degree in equine leisure are thoroughly explored.

Methods of assessment include assignments, reports, case studies, presentations and examinations.

Entry is normally through an HND or Foundation Degree in an appropriate subject, or equivalent. Particular grades and/or units may be required.
