Course Description
This course develops knowledge of the breeding, training and care of horses in combination with practical skills in stable management and equitation. The modules offered on this course are wide-ranging and combine academic aspects of the subject, including biomechanical analysis and equine health and disease, with practical modules, such as equine management and coaching skills. Course contents include equine anatomy and physiology, equine nutrition, animal reproduction, equine behaviour, equine health and disease, research methods, business management, equine practical management skills, equitation, sport psychology, biomechanical analysis, exercise physiology and injury and recovery.
