Course Description
This course is intended for students wishing to pursue a career within the numerous rapidly developing equine support industries and associated advisory services. They learn about functional anatomy and physiology, fundamentals of animal nutrition, research methods and study skills, equine breeding, stud management, animal genetics, applied companion equine behaviour, management of equine facilities, etc.
Entry Requirements
Students should have 80 UCAS points - normally one A level in a biological science, or average merit grade at National Diploma in Horse Studies. They should also have GCSEs in Maths, English, Biological Science.
