Course Description
This programme recognises the growing overlap of the roles of the accountant and the business lawyer and aims to ensure graduates are able to work efficiently in a local, UK or European setting. The degree has been designed with careful reference to the needs of the relevant professional accountancy bodies and will comprise six semesters. In addition, they will acquire a range of general and transferable business skills in areas such as IT, Statistics and Communications. Supervised work experience in the second semester of the second year will provide them with the opportunity to link College-based learning and the real business world.

Variety of assessment methods are used including in-course assignments, dissertation and examination
Entry Requirements
Applicants require 100-140 tariff points, minimum of five GCSEs grade C or above to include Maths and two A2 GCSEs (not General Studies) or AVCE or BTEC Nationals or equivalent or the Award of a full Access Certificate by a licensed Access Validating Agency, Key Skills Level 3. Compact students require evidence of participation. All applicants will be invited for an interview

A range of support services for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities is available including specialist communication support workers, assistive technologies and in-class support workers
