This course comprises 12 modules: (Core Modules) Tropical Crops; Tropical Environments; and Perspectives on Development; (Specialised Modules) Tropical Crop Science; Nematology; Applied Plant Pathology; Crops and Water; and Organic Farming; (Optional Modules) Agricultural Project Planning and Management; Comparative Extension; Gender and Development; and Participatory Learning and Action in Development and Extension; Dissertation.

Entry Requirements
Second class honours degree In agriculture, plant sciences or a related subject. Applicants with substantial professional experience In tropical agriculture and/or a higher diploma in agriculture or a related discipline may also be considered for admission. International applicants will be expected to provide evidence of English language ability.
