Course Description
This is an ideal follow on from the basic chainsaw course for those wishing to work in arboriculture. Participants learn about knots and harnesses, safe climbing techniques and aerial rescue to prepare them for working with chainsaws in trees. It is also recommended for ground staff in the industry, who must be able to rescue a climber in difficulty.
Equipment and Materials
Chainsaws are provided but candidates must bring their PPE.
