Course Description
This qualification gives students the opportunity to undertake a management position in a wide range of service sector industries. Year One – core units: Marketing for Travel and Tourism, Travel and Tourism Environment and Work Experience. Optional units: I.T. for Travel and Tourism, Customer Care and Front Office Operations, Incoming and Domestic Tourism, The Geography of Travel and Tourism and Visitor Attraction Management. Year Two – core units: Planning for the Travel and Tourism Industry, Management Finance for Travel and Tourism and Travel and Tourism Operations Management. Optional units: Heritage Management, Small Business Enterprises, Retail Travel Operations and Personnel Management for Travel and Tourism.

Assessment method
Ongoing assessment, demonstrated through group work, presentations and written assignments. APL where appropriate.

Entry Requirements
